The problem.
The Aeronautical Instrumentation Group of Companies’ WordPress site was slow and unreliable, the result of years of accumulated plugin conflicts and database clutter (leftover post data, metadata and scheduler entries) sitting on an old server.
What I did.
I set up a new, properly configured server, did a fresh WordPress install with secure defaults, reinstalled and tested every plugin one by one, and audited and cleaned the database (posts, metadata, cron and scheduler events). Then I migrated the site across, tested it fully, and tuned performance before calling it done.
What they got.
A faster, more reliable WordPress site on infrastructure that’s actually maintainable going forward, not patched over the same problems.

Platform: WordPress on a custom-configured Linux hosting environment, MySQL database. Tools: Action Scheduler, WP-CLI, phpMyAdmin, cPanel. Work covered server provisioning, a clean WordPress install, plugin reinstallation and testing, a full database audit and cleanup (posts, metadata, scheduler), optimised cron/scheduler events, full backup and export/import migration, and post-deployment performance verification. 2024.
