About This Project

Require an application that can lookup a online shipping order via a VIN number.

Technical Details.

Build a small basic JavaScript App that connects to an external API and pull in details for a VIN number lookup. The JavaScript app was added inside a custom WordPress plugin so that the client can install the app on their website.

  • Build with JavaScript ES6, Compiled with WebPack & Babel.
  • Build a 3rd party WordPress plugin to inject the JavaScript app on the page via Shortcode.
  • HTML template for the PHP code.
  • Responsive Styling using CSS.
  • Finding and testing a table layout library that will work for both desktop, tablet and mobile.
