The problem, in the owner’s words.

Storewell manages airport vehicle parking and needed a way to move off manual booking handling. Bookings needed to be captured reliably, checked against availability, and synced automatically with their parking partner, ParkCloud, without staff re-entering the same booking twice.

What I did.

I built a custom WordPress plugin with its own database tables to hold booking data, and a React dashboard embedded in the WordPress admin so staff can view, filter, edit and print bookings in real time. Gravity Forms captures the public booking request and I built the pipeline that turns that submission into a structured booking record. A custom REST API connects the dashboard to the backend, and a direct integration with the ParkCloud API keeps bookings in sync automatically, with an optional email-parsing fallback for bookings that arrive by email instead. The work started in 2023 and continued into 2024.

What they got.

A working booking system that cut manual re-entry and booking errors, and that I’ve kept working since: when the booking form stopped working in 2026, I traced it to a damaged script file and an out-of-date plugin, and fixed both.

For your technical person

WordPress plugin with custom MySQL tables, a React single-page dashboard embedded in wp-admin, and a custom WordPress REST API connecting the two. Gravity Forms captures bookings with custom filters that format submissions into the plugin’s tables. Direct integration with the ParkCloud API for automated booking sync, with an optional Mailparser.io pipeline for email-sourced bookings. Dockerised development environment, version-controlled with SVN. Built in 2023, continued into 2024. In 2026, a booking-form outage was traced to a corrupted script and an outdated form plugin, and both were fixed.
